The Rose on Bond is a project that renovated an existing church and adjacent building and was converted into 60 rental apartments consisting of Studios, 1 bedrooms, and 2 bedrooms. This project went through an extensive restoration that brought it back to its original beauty while maintaining the current details and aesthetic of the existing historical building. Both landscaping and an adjacent City pocket were upgraded as part of this project as well. Now the iconic building known as The Rose on Bond serves as 60 homes, bridging the gap of time and styles between classic Spanish Revival and modern interior living.

Artthaus Studios is the intersection of creative office, artist studios, and a makers facility, all brought together under one roof. Aimed at creating a diverse community of creative professionals it offers over 100 office and studio spaces catered to the needs of artists, entrepreneurs and small creative businesses ranging from design, film, web, publishing, photography and beyond. Tenants enjoy raw expansive office spaces with flexible layouts, double-height ceilings, abundant natural light, and panoramic views. Impeccably designed common spaces and roof deck offer additional meeting spaces for tenants and events. Sitting along a key artery of Oakland, the building now known as Artthaus Studios began its life in 1916 as the H.G. Prince Cannery, later becoming the Del Monte Cannery, and is the last remaining Cannery building in what was once the largest canning district in the region. The Property was originally built in 5 stages over the span of 40 years, and is a testament to Oakland’s history of reinvention with the tone of industry --- transitioning from a Cannery, to a manufacturing facility, to a creative hub for the East Bay and the greater Bay Area.
